This is a remix of part "track_drive_wheel_54_V1" for the RC Tank published by Staind. The stock drive wheel has cavities with a rounded bottom shape for the pi of the tracks to go into. Under strain, for example when climbing up a steep hill, the rounded shape of the cavities forces the pi of the tracks away from the drive wheel itead of pushing the track forward as it is supposed to do. This leads to the track making a loud clicking noise when jumping back into the cavity after having been forced to the outside. Sometimes the tracks got stuck on my tank. So I changed the shape of the cavities of the drive wheel. The pi of the tracks now get pushed along nicely and my tank ru with much less noise. I have not tested this drive wheel with a fast setup. Right now I am using a very slow high torque setup with geared moto for crawling.
