For the past 2 months, to assist with the need for PPE equipment for front-line healthcare worke, I have been running 6 printe around the clock printing Face Shield frames and Ear-Saver clips. I have also been working with my local High School to help them keep their fleet of 40 Ender-3 printe repaired, tuned and running properly. To properly recognize all these printe for their tireless work, I came up with this printer medallion, after seeing similar ones on the web, to recognize the printe for their tireless fight agait the COVID-19 pandemic. The part measures 48mm x 36mm and is 3mm thick. After printing, it can be attached to your printer with some double sided tape or epoxy glue. I printed mine in gold silk PLA for a nice shiny look to the part. I printed these parts on my old tried and true, heavily modded, ANET A6 printer with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm laye. In order to get the part to print properly I had to cheat the settings in Simplify3D and put in a 0.4mm nozzle size, but a 0.37mm print width so the fine detail would print out correctly.
