Another idea that can be 3D printed, based on a design by Matt Boley, found on Family Handyman. Link:
His write-up states:

"Quick and Easy Gauge - This gauge block is the quickest way to set the height of a table saw blade. This one is made from a 3-in. length of 4×4 cut to the settings used most frequently. If you need more settings, just create another block.
Then when it’s time to reset the table saw blade, these blocks will help you get the job done quickly."

Again, I didn't have any suitable wood offcuts, so decided to design quickly for printing itead.
NOTE: I have not printed yet, but the shapeize/etc seems to fit the link details. I ran the STL's through netfabb and also verified the model completeness in Simplify3D (S3D), so it should print fine.
I suggest printing in ABS or PETG, but PLA will also be ok (I'll be using PLA ) - I would further suggest extra wall thickness, top and bottom solid laye (3-5) and medium infill percentage (20% honeycomb) to eure rigidity.
I have included STL's with:
both metric and imperial blocks
metric block on its own - 5mm/10mm/15mm/20mm
imperial block on its own - 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 1"
-- this should facilitate quicker printing or if you need to replace at any stage
Each gauge dimeion is approx. 90mm x 90mm with an overall height of approx. 50mm.
(equivalent to a 4x4 piece of wood, as close as...); the height was reduced so as not to waste filament...
I have included the Sketchup SKP file, should you wish to make other depths, etc
Comments welcome! :)
