I saw many fanduct-desig for the Sidewinder X1 stock fan and found some for dual 5015 fa. Sadly the 4020 stock was a bit to loud for my feelings and had not enough air pressure for my feelings (weight Stockfan duct ~35g). Desig for dual 5015-fa have nice/high airflow but also a high weight (~85-100g) depending on desig and materials, which can increase ghosting/ringing).
This is why I designed a new, easy printable, low weight fanduct mount for a single 5015-fan:
For my experience: 5015-fa have higher airflow or lower loudness compared to 4020 fa
The fanduct allows a better airflow than stock
Weight of fan duct is ~45-50g (depending on materials)
Unlike another solo 5015-fanduct that I found, it is designed for 3d printing with less issues and allows good airflow.
There are 3 deepenings in it to put some damping materials iide between mount and fan (I don't know if this is usefull but also saves weight, if you dont use it ;-) )
In this design the LED on the extruder might not be useable anymore (exept if you use traparent filament)
