This is a propeller drill guide for use with DLE30, RCGF30 and other RC gas moto that use 4mm bolts on a 26mm diameter pattern with a 10mm center shaft.
In addition to the printed parts a 3mm x 35mm (or 40mm) all thread bolt and 2 x 3mm nuts are required. This is designed to be used with a drill press, the 2 bases are used to prevent the prop from moving and to support it while being drilled and allow for clamping to the drill press table.
The 3mm bolt is ierted through the knob and tightened into place using one of the nuts, the other nut is placed into the guide itself. Prior to drilling a prop the drill bit should be run through each of the holes to clear and size them.
To use this guide clamp the propeller between the knurled nut and the guide, with the guide on the back side of the prop and align the guide holes to your preference. Clamp the base to the drill press table and place the nut side into the base, align and drill. When drilling, drill slowly and in stages to keep the hole clear.
The bit I use to drill the holes is an 11/64th, which is about 4.2mm and makes for a snug fit to the 4mm prop bolts.
I printed this in PLA, 0.25mm laye, 25% infill with 6 perimete, the included gcode file should work well with Prussa I3 and clones.
