The modern day time capsule, the proverbial cedar closet
lost treasures iide, forgotten no more.
the time capsule of a generation,
the vault of memories.
blow the dust away, move and shuffle all of the disgarded toys.
In these boxes, frozen in time, lies the past, sitting silent,
without a noise. ____________________________________________________
So we're usually stuck in forward mode, always looking for the latest greatest technology, we don't usually take the time to look at how things use to be. One day, I was at my friends house, somehow ended up rummaging through the cedar closet and came across a box full of old video games and electronics and found this gem among many other amazing historic kitsch. It's a late 80's, slash, early 90's Craig brand CD player!....yes, remember those 'g at it, I was itantly traported to the past, I had already completely forgotten the days of cassette tapes, CD's and all that went with it, rock & roll and grunge music! This was my childhood, boxed away, collecting dust.... looking back, in some ways, I don't think we've come that far ahead. I just loved the retro lines of this player, everything about it screamed early 90's "Hi-Tech" complete with "Super bass system" and "8 bit monochrome LCD display!!" WOW!!....I just had to pay my respects and model it, a homage to preserve a design and an era, in time, forever!
thanks to Karyono for the headphones.. My head phones...
