Yet another filament drybox for Ikea Samla 22l. It's mostly a remix/collection by other people. I've contributed with the PTFE tube connecto, but you can of coue use whatever connecto you wish. There are plenty of them. I've also included a poor ma roller, where you don't have to use 608 bearings. It uses the stands from Minimalist Samla 22L and 65L Filament Storage, but itead of a threaded rod I use plain rods with a small printed clamp to hold the bearings in place. Parts Stand
2x 8x338 mm rod/pipe. I use aluminum rods. 4x stands for rods/pipes: I use the very fine stands from Minimalist Samla 22L and 65L Filament Storage. 8x M3x6 screws.
Rolle This depends on how many spools you wish to have. It fits 5x 50 mm wide spools. For one spool you need:
4x 608 bearings. 4x v groove for 608 bearings.
...or, if you don't want to use metal bearings
4x (they work ok, but that's about it. Bearings are preferred)
You also need:
8x to hold the rolle in place. If you fit 5 spools, you only need one clamp between the spools, so you need 32 clamps in total.
PTFE connecto You can use either M6 or M10 connecto, or both. For 5 spools you need: For M6 connector
5x PFTE M6 5x PFTE M6
For M10 connector
5x PFTE M10 5x PFTE M10
You need to drill a 10 mm hole for each connector. I recommend printing them in PETG for strength. It's a tight fit. Lid
4x Lid clips for the smaller IKEA SAMLA storage boxes. I enlarge the z axis to make them 50 mm long. Sealing strip for a snug fit.
Desiccant
I use 1 kg of silica gel.
