A watch is a very peonal item, so my proposal is a modular product line that not only offe customization, but also incremental revenue for Carus when accessories are purchased. Accessory modules would also provide an opportunity to reach other use (Samsung, fitbit, Pebble, etc.), greatly broadening the customer base for an elegant, sturdy docking station. Modules would also provide a way to upgrade to new connector standards. The basic system coists of a Carus phone dock and a simple charging pad. There is a speaker and microphone in the front that allows the phone to be used while docked. The back would have typical connectio (VDC, USB, etc). There is a second accessory panel behind the phone for an additional module (or for simply moving the charging pad to the back). Some examples of custom modules include an elevated charging pad that can be custom-engraved by Carus, a charging pad for single-piece watchbands, a nightlight, a second docking port for a tablet, expaion ports, future connector standards, etc. Connecto and electronics beneath each module could allow the customer to simply unplug one module and replace it with another. Other ideas such as a holder for your eyeglasses or a pad of Post-It notes wouldn't need power. Each generation of phone varies in size and custome may use a protective case, so I made the phone cavity large and propose using custom ierts for each phone. Here, different colo of ierts would provide the customer with peonal optio and provide Carus another opportunity for incremental sales.
